In the past month, River Horse Internet Marketing has made sandwiches and served over 100 of Savannah’s homeless at the Inner City Night Shelter on East President Street. “So many times we take for granted how good we have it. Our health, a place to sleep, and food. I feel it’s important that we take time out to help those that are not as fortunate and give them not only food and drink but words of encouragement. Many times though it’s the homeless people I speak with that end up making me smile! It’s rewarding when they tell me thank you and God bless you,” said Joe Ippolito President of RHIM.
I ask that all of us take time to help when we can. The Inner City Night Shelter has been helping the homeless since 1983 and has a dedicated staff that works tirelessly every day. If you don’t have time to serve dinner, please consider donating. Visit Inner City Night Shelter to learn how you can help the homeless in Savannah, GA.
